Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas: the 5th of her Throne of Glass series. I am looking forward to continuing this series through the next three books! It is a wonderful escape to another world and reads easily.
Drowning in Paper Flowers by E.L. Westbury, this was a psychological thriller, mysterious but not scary. I liked a couple of the twists and the lead character Ruby. For someone who seems like they have it all it’s a good reminder that everyone is dealing with something. We are more than we seem on the outside.
The Thursday Night Murder Club by Richard Osman, a cozy mystery, with a surprising setting. You get nice glimpses into each character and they’re all so fun to get to know through this book. Definitely recommend and will be soon checking out the Netflix movie.
Before I met you by Lisa Jewell, one of my favorite historical fiction authors. This goes back and forth between the 1990’s and the 1920’s. I loved the people and the story lines in both decades that circled around together in a really heart-warming way at the end.

Harry Potter: The Chamber of Secrets, I am a Harry Potter fan from wayyyy back! Although, Harry Potter always deserves a spot on a book list, I didn’t add it because it was MOSTLY read in February. My 12 year old and I are reading through them in the evenings, so this month we are working on The Prisoner of Azkaban.
First Lie Wins: Ashley Elston, it was a psychological thriller. I enjoyed it but wasn’t one of my top books lately 😊
The Astral Library: Kate Quinn, Kate Quinn is one of my favorite historical fiction authors! However, this was kind of a fantasy and the characters didn’t hit the mark for me. It just didn’t seem like a “Kate Quinn” I’m used to and honestly a least favorite of mine.
