Serena Bentley

I’m Serena Bentley, and in 2024 I returned to my roots—back to my hometown, back to the place where it all began. My children now walk the same halls and sit in the same classrooms where I once spent my days, and it fills my heart to watch them thrive here. Being back home has reminded me that where we grow roots, we find strength—and that’s where Rooted Wildflower began.
My Journey

For more than 25 years, I’ve been blessed to work as a hairstylist and business owner. This career has brought me endless laughter, lifelong friendships, and the privilege of helping others feel confident and beautiful. From my beginnings as an 18-year-old stylist to becoming a wife, mother, and entrepreneur, I’ve learned that growth rarely follows a straight path. Like a wildflower, I’ve weathered seasons, pushed through cracks, and found a way to bloom wherever life planted me.
Rooted in Faith

That spirit is at the heart of Rooted Wildflower: staying grounded in faith and community while embracing the beauty of imperfection and new beginnings.
Beyond the salon chair, I’ve always loved hunting for unique and meaningful treasures—antiques, vintage pieces, home décor, and handcrafted goods that tell a story. I believe that forgotten or once-loved items can find new life in someone else’s hands. Inside Rooted Wildflower, you’ll find a thoughtfully curated boutique filled with these discoveries—some old, some new, all chosen with care. Whether you’re drawn to a piece for its history, artistry, or simple charm, I hope it brings a smile to your face and joy to your space.
I also take pride in offering high-quality, people- and planet-friendly hair products that I’ve personally selected for their performance and integrity. God created a world full of natural beauty and nourishment, and I strive to reflect that in the products I use and the way I care for my guests.
Come & Bloom

The name Rooted Wildflower was inspired by Luke 12:27 — “Consider how the wildflowers grow.” It’s a reminder to trust God, to grow where you're planted, and to find beauty in every stage of life.
So whether you come in to refresh your roots, find a treasure that speaks to your soul, or simply share a smile — may you leave Rooted Wildflower feeling renewed, inspired, and a little more grounded in your own story.
